Opunake High School Dux

Success has been very much at the forefront of this term. It was a joy to gather together as a community for our senior prizegiving, a fitting way to celebrate the academic, cultural and sporting successes of our senior students. Thank you very much to the parents and caregivers who came to honour our students. Congratulations goes to all prize winners, especially to our Dux, Clare Young, and Proxime Accessit, Abbey Silson. These two inspirational young people have made a real mark this year, as leaders and as outstanding role models of our school values.

Work Experience Week 29 June - 3 July

All year 12 students will be involved in Work Experience Week Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July.

The purpose of the week is to provide year 12 students with an opportunity to experience the realities of work in a job of their choice.

We hope this will help them in their career planning and vision setting for their future.
