Manawatu College Sports Exchange 28-29 May

On May 28 Manawatu College arrived at Opunake High School, for our annual sports exchange. This is a great event that all students look forward to competing in. Over the 2 days there are many new friends made and old friendships rekindled.

This year we won 6 of 7 games and played these games with determination and grunt. The rugby drew an amazing crowd, and a nailbiting finish with Rawiri crossing the line to win the game in the last minute. The score was 14-15 to Opunake.

Hockey also came down to the crunch with only one goal seperating the score with Opunake coming out on top 1-0.
