BOARD MATTERS

We have had some movement in our school Board recently.
Liz Gasson has resigned from the BOT Presiding Member position. Liz has been a trailblazer, mover and shaker, promoter of diversity, excellence, engagement and achievement plus has been pivotal in the property space. Her dedication and commitment to the kura has been outstanding, and Liz honours and realises our DREAMS values in all she does.
Matua John Hooker, one of our longest serving board members has also resigned. Matua John has supported the school with cultural and financial portfolios, even though all his tamariki have moved on from OHS. Matua John has dedicated enormous amounts of time and energy to our kura, and has been a leading light in all things Maori. OHS Board, Staff and students have enormous appreciation for the professionalism, dedication and service Matua John and Liz have given to our school.
