Partnership
- We want to build a constructive home/school partnership
- We believe that the partnership between home / school / student is crucial to the success of individual students.
- We wish to have your interest, support and involvement in your son's or daughter's schooling.
- We would appreciate your assistance with various activities (e.g. sports, camps, drama, culture group, report evenings, Whanau Tuhono, Home and School Association, powhiri, overnight marae stays, fundraising, Board of Trustees…….)
The enrolment form contains a section for you to indicate areas in which you could offer support.
The Home and School Association
The Home and School Association provides an opportunity through monthly meetings for parents and caregivers to gain first hand information about learning and teaching programmes, events and activities happening throughout the school.
Raising funds is a key part of the Home and School role. These funds are generally spent on extra resources to enhance student learning and achievement.
The meeting also provides a forum for parents to feedback to the school. A member of the Board of Trustees is always in attendance for the Home and School members to talk with.
